You won’t want to miss this enjoyable Triple Header! First, we will take a guided tour of Cikana State Fish Hatchery in Martinsville, then for lunch at Christopher’s Diner in Brooklyn, and finally wine tasting at Cedar Creek Winery in Martinsville.
The Cikana Fish Hatchery was purchased by the state in 1966 during the time when new public fishing waters were being created around the state. A centrally located hatchery was needed to boost production of warm-water species such as bass, bluegill and channel cat fish. Christopher’s No. 12 Diner is a unique restaurant that serves a variety of delicious food for our enjoyment. You won’t be disappointed. Cedar Creek Winery, Brewery and Distillery is the final stop on our tour for a tasting of a variety of delicious wines produced in their distillery in Martinsville.
