Keeping the brain active is key to living a brain healthy lifestyle. Research has found that regular mental stimulation helps to improve and prolong healthy brain performance and may even slow down the progression of dementia.

Our Brain Fit program helps residents exercise crucial brain skills such as memory, concentration, problem-solving, processing speed, language, and visual-spatial recognition through the use of computer programs, apps, and even therapy memory training visits from a licensed clinical social worker or psychologist.  

 

Areas of the brain involved with memory, concentration, communication, and attention are targeted to promote independence and enhance abilities of our residents.  Best of all, these games make mental exercise fun!
